Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
A 16-wheeler lorry loaded with goods overturned on the GT Road in Shibpur Sandhyabazar area of Howrah, after colliding with two roadside shops.
The incident brought traffic to a complete standstill in the area. The lorry driver was seriously injured and is receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.
Eyewitnesses reported that the lorry went out of control before hitting the two shops and overturning on the road. Fortunately, the occupants of the shop were completely safe and did not sustain any injuries in the accident.
The incident has caused significant disruption in the area, with traffic being diverted to other routes to avoid the accident site. Local authorities are working to clear the road and restore normal traffic flow as quickly as possible.
